Wandering our way through Australia, living our dream.
Our Story
Hey, We are Tarsha & Michael and we are Wandering Glampers. We are travelling around Australia indefinitely in our Y62 Nissan Patrol and 18" Coromal Pioneer XC Caravan.
Sometime back in 2019, we were laying on the couch after another long day at work, watching some YouTube, and started watching people travel Australia. We thought, why are we living the 9-5 grind when we can be out there doing that? Before you knew it, we were watching and following every travelling family/couple we could find on social media soaking up every bit of information we could find to assist us in travelling this beautiful, broad country we call home.
Fast forward to February 2022 and we set off doing exactly what we had dreamt of.

Michael 29,
Grew up in Perth, Western Australia.
He left school in year 10 to start a Bricklaying apprenticeship which he completed and ended up working in the industry for 10 years in various roles, before deciding the body had had enough and went into a supervisor role for a local builder, before starting up an insurance repair company to which he worked for a few years while preparing for the adventure ahead.
Michael has always enjoyed being outdoors and experiencing new places.
After doing the classic 6-week backpacking trip around Europe in his early 20s, he knew travel was something he wanted to do so when the opportunity came to travel full-time it was a no-brainer.
Tarsha 28,
Grew up in Kalgoorlie & Karratha
Tarsha left school at 16 to start a work-based traineeship in childcare. She finished her certificate 3 in children's services before she was 18. It wasn't for a few years until she got the courage to complete her Diploma in children's services. Shortly after she had completed this she was 2nd in charge at a child care centre. Tarsha had lost a lot of her passion for working with children over the 12 years of working in the industry and was looking for a change.
As Tarsha grew up in the country being out exploring came second nature to her and she was always looking for her next getaway so when Tarsha and Michael met and began doing their own little family getaways the talk of full-time travel excited her and she was already manifesting the trip.
